What are your primary responsibilities day-to-day? 

I provide customer service and support to architects designing with our products and our customers selecting and installing our products.

What’s your favorite part about working at Midland? 

The variety of people, products, and projects we get to be involved with. Every day is different, and it keeps things from getting boring.

What’s one of the most memorable projects you’ve worked on while at Midland Concrete Products? 

Two that stand out are the Gantz Residence in Dubuque and First State Bank in Clear Lake. Both were brick projects that had thousands of shapes involved. They required a lot of work to get proper quantities made and shipped to the site. Both came out looking incredible.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be? 

Tough call, but I’d have to say, Arnold Palmer. I saw him on a practice round in Des Moines, and it was the thrill of my life.
