How long have you worked at Midland?
I have been with Midland for 19 years.

What are your primary responsibilities day-to-day?
I wear several hats throughout the day! I dispatch loads, assist customers, prepare tickets, make payments on accounts, enter POs, and make bank deposits.

What’s your favorite part about working at Midland?
All the nice customers and the coworkers I’ve met over the years.

What’s one of the most memorable projects you’ve worked on while at Midland?
Years ago, when we were doing our landscape display area, we decided to put in a koi pond. The guys did a great job putting natural stone and rocks around it, and I planted lots of hostas and daylilies. We even had koi fish; it was beautiful. However, we soon discovered it was a lot of work as it leaked regularly, and one morning the koi were floating! The pond is still there, but we no longer keep fish in it.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?
Honestly, I would say my mom. She was the nicest person I have ever met, and I miss her every day! A close second, however, would be George Clooney.
